Thank you so very much. This message was meant for me today. As last night coming back from a church meeting. I finally started to sing Happy Christmas Songs. (It started with, Silent Night.)I just pulled over to take a picture of the Bartlett, TN Temple. (pictured with Nativity Set) (I felt I have been silenced for years.) I belted songs, in my car all the way home. Every song was a jolly song. I have never felt so much happiness. Then the song, “Cause, I’m happy, ” came on. It told me everything I needed to know. I am in the right place. Then this popped up. I love feeling this joy. I Thank God for that true happiness. Thank you God.

It is so cool that this talk has helped so many people, including me. Struggling with endometriosis and uncertainty. No matter our circumstances, we can find peace and hope through Jesus Christ.

This talk brought me a lot of comfort. I remember watching this general conference on my mission in West Africa, thinking about what I will do when I return home. It hasn't been easy returning home starting all over with nothing but the Lord has been merciful.

I love Apostle Jeffrey R. Holland. His messages speak to my soul more than anyone else's. I pray your health is proving Elder Holland. I pray that God allows you to stay with us for many more years. I need your spirituality, your faith. Your words always touch me and help me. I'm anything but perfect, and I am struggling on so many fronts. I feel that with listening to you, I can make it. This is the talk my seminary teacher gave to me. She knew I was feeling so unwelcome by my fellow youth. Especially by the young woman. Because I am gay. And I openly express that I am. And I don’t back down from it because that is who I am and I should not hid who I am. I cannot Deny part of me. My girlfriend. That isn’t fair. And this talk put me at peace and helps to strengthen my testimony. I have been Mormon all my life. And I love he gospel and I believe in the gospel. But I also know how I feel. And in my heart I cannot Deny part of myself. I love my girlfriend just the same as any girl would love her boyfriend. I still go to church. And this talk has strengthened my testimony. Helps me to feel wanted and accept.
