When I saw the probes I thought, Oh, nice one, he's bought an oscilloscope! Imagine my surprise when I saw that you got the exact make and model of the one I got from ebay in febuary! It's perfect for audio repairs as you can compare the input (CH1) to the output (CH2). I had to download the instructions in PDF file! It's a great piece of kit!

Very nice scope. A lot better than the one I had in the '80s as a teen :) It was a clunker from the late '40s. You should get a good bit of use out of this just mucking around with lower/medium digital signals. I think you divide the scopes listed max freq by 6 to get the approximate max digital freq. I know there are measurements you can do to figure it out as well. Anyway, I'm glad for you and I know a good scope is a great value for hobbyist like us!
