2012 Can Am Renegade 1000 vs 2012 Kawasaki Brute Force 750

Brute Force Muzzy Super Pro Duals w/ digitune fuel controller, Renegade 1000 bone stock. V force John Dyno results were 54.5 on the brute and 62 on the renegade.

John knows his stuff. He doesn't sell a product or provide a service unless it is worth it and shows a gain in testing. He is a very nice guy in person and his dyno tuning is spot on. He did my Prairie 650 a while ago and will be doing my Prairie 730 in a few weeks.

Some dont have a clue. Id have stuck with the big three if they would start making bigger rides. Left 750 Brute for xmr 1000 and will never go back!  I may keep Brute for a loaner or for kids machine.

@ Malachia you've obviously never rode either.... I've rode a lot of can am 650's and 800's. The 650 is out of its HP is measured at the crank and is pretty much a useless number. the brute and 800 renegade are much more comparable in power. Only the 1000 engines "walk all over the brute." If you notice it wasn't until the brute was over 40-45 mph that the renegade in this vid was going completely out of site of it. The dual pipes by themselves don't make near as much difference as putting in ignition, cams, power commander etc. all with the pipes. I'd say you'd see a close race then.

Mainly because I don't own an 800 outlander, but I have raced one with the 12' brute force, with equal mods the brute is faster.

well Im not a can-am hater but I just wanna say ds450mxISBEAST can-am does not lead the industry in race ATV's, that would go to either Suzuki or Yamaha, so nobody should hate on any make, just ride what you've got and have fun!

As for drag racing goes, mainly long ones like this i would put my money on the can am 1000 as well, but for a utility 4x4 with racks you can't deny the brute holds quite well for being down 250cc and utility vs sport 4x4. Personally I would still get the brute, much better all around quad, and If all I wanted was to drag with it, you build it for it, drop some weight and with the engine kits for the brute they can be built to be unbeatable, if you wanna spend the cash that is lol.

I own a 750 kaw and would like to say that i love it, but the 800 can am will out run it. Any body with respect for atvs will not down any make. Stock vs stock 05 kaw vs 07 can am it got me by 2 1/2 atv lengths. Now the same atvs with my kaw having full hmf exhaust, k&n filter, dynatek cdi box, carbs rejetted.  can am with slip on hmf and k&n filter, and efi module. he can still get me by 3 atv lengths. On the plus he can out run the new 850 sportsman.  I just about out run it as well.

Rene 1000 only dynoed 62 to the wheels? Man that's terrible, no wonder it's so close. Love my brute force, thing hauls ass from a dig like a way bigger motor. If kawi ever does an 850, lookout boys.

Can ams are built soo much better and come stock with better components, 2 RENES and love them more and more. Next rene 1000 then off to vforce johns

the brute had mods so it was closer than what it would have been if it was stock.
