I prefer lower on me too. I have wide hips as well. Just makes me feel leaner than pudgier. However, YOU look great both ways but it’s about comforter isn’t it! ❤

The high waisted looks great on you! It’s very flattering and shows off your womanly figure more than the low waisted one. It accentuates your waist more and gives you a nice slope to your hips. There is nothing wrong with a pear shape. In fact, it is very attractive to many—especially men. Heterosexual men find wider hips more attractive

As someone with wide hips like hers, I see her point. I think people don't realise that we often see flaws in our greatest assets. I don't like high waist jeans either just because I feel like it makes my body disproportionate. She's very beautiful though and shouldn't feel insecure wearing anything.
