As soon as Brother Andrew mentioned that woman who imagined Jesus taking on her cancer, I imagined Jesus taking on my OCD. And then I immediately began speaking in tongues. I now have a more vivid image of healing in this part of my life. And I'll imagine the same regarding other areas of my life that need healing or restoration. Amen!

Here are some of the ways to study the Bible:


* A Specific Book of the Bible. You can research the author, who it’s written to, the date and place where it was written, the theme/s, the purpose of the book, and so on.

* A Topic of Interest. This kind of study is called “topical”. Examples of this study is on subjects like healing, prayer, the Holy Spirit, and so on.

* A Character Study. Studying great men and women of faith can help us greatly. We can begin to piece together the clues about their lives and learn from them.

* A Word Study. This is similar to a topical study, although it focuses on a specific word. We discover every single way that word is used throughout the Old and/or New Testaments.

* A Saturation Study. This is means to completely saturate yourself with a specific portion of scripture. The idea is to pull out a specific passage, and then read that passage over and over and over getting completely full of that scripture.

Let’s study and be hearers, readers, and doers of God’s Word!

Hey, I watched this and I am so so blessed by the sharing. Andrew shared about how his two sons become prodigal sons and that really touched me that he was honest and real with his sharing. I told that to my husband because I was getting discouraged with my older son who shows signs of disinterest towards God's things. My husband threw me questions that caught me dumbfounded. He asked why did God not protect Andrew's sons from going astray? He asked what was God doing when Andrew was serving Him faithfully? He asked why did God not stop the demons from working in Andrew's sons? Can you please give me some biblical advice on these? His questions are very real and because he was disappointed with God a few years ago, he hasn't healed yet and likes to use such questions to challenge God and me.
