What was the point of Bumblebee's Hammer in Transformers 5? And if you're gonna answer "to beat the breaks off of Nemesis Prime" then I'll save you the effort of typing. Because if that was the case then it's lazy writing at its finest and a waste of hype. I remember coming up with different speculations revolving around this weapon before the movie hit theaters. If it was me in the writing chair I would've made it the legendary forge of Solus. That would've been the perfect plot device to snap Optimus out of his evil hypnosis. As opposed to Bumblebee magically gaining his voice back to talk. Like did he not gain it back at the end of the first film? Fun fact the hammer was gonna be brought back in the Bumblebee movie. Where it would leave a print of the Autobot and volkswagon insignia into the body of its victims when hit. Talk about wasted potential.

Yeah, it made no sense for Bumblebee to just magically have a hammer out of nowhere. We even briefly see it in the WW2 flashbacks of TLK. So my question is, if he had that thing for decades, then why didn’t he use it in the earlier films? Why couldn’t he have just gotten it in this movie, like if he found it on the Knights Ship, or, like you said, it was the Forge of Solus Prime, powerful enough to snap Optimus out of his Nemesis phase.

The forge of solus prime would, have been really cool in the bay films. It would also be a good throw back to tf prime (for myself) as I learned of the hammer from that show.

I KNEW HE GOT HIS VOICE BACK! I had a whole argument with my mom about it lmfao 🤣, she’s watched every movie with me since I was a kid and I never understood why he kept just using the radio even though he got his voice back, while it’s funny and it fits his character I assumed he just liked using it, but then they made it weird by making it seem like he couldn’t talk.

Yeah the whole "Bumblebee...I have not heard your voice since the war on cybertron.." made no sense as he spoke at the end of the first one

If not the Prime's hammer, the whole idea of it having an Autobot symbol that Bee imprints into others by beating the crap out of them is so much cooler. Even that reminding Optimus of hid past with Bee would've been better than Bee just magically gaining his voice back out of nowhere

It would have been better if they used it in transformers 4, it would make better action scenes in my opinion

I think bumblebee got his voice back by finally mastering using the radio to talk and using lots of sounds from it to forge his voice, which is actually really awesome since we see him use the radio a lot.

At least in Transformers Prime it was the cybermatter (the thing the entire second half of the 3rd season revolved around) that brought his voice back.
