Also depends on the “type of dirt”. You can waterless wash a car covered in pollen, but not a car with a tiny bit of mud.

What would be the difference between a waterless wash and a quick detailer then?

I use waterless wash to clean up fingerprints, missed spots, and areas where sealant or coating are showing high spots. I also use it when washing my car as a drying agent after foaming the car. I also use it as a last step on wheels.

I use detailer for dust and interior door cards. Occasional prints and spots.

I've yet to try rinseless but my dang garage is already being taken up by care care stuff.

I use it on dirty cars. But in that case as the contact wash after a pre wash foam. Works well in combo or on its own

Just received my 6 bottles of V1 rinse less wash, a gallon of ceramic gloss, gal of quick beads and cotton candy mit and have never washed my cars with rinse less only with foam wash. My vehicles are only dusty and not dirty so I think I can save time with rinse less washing. I’m still going to rinse them with deionized water. Thanks for the video & the Valentine’s Day sale.

Great video!
But i use Turtle Wax hybrid ceramic spray coating on my car. Will waterless wash remove the spray coating?

Best recommendations for keeping up on a black cadillac escalade through the winter that is daily driven, no garage and in New England? (meaning salt/sand daily exposure) with no water outside theres no way to wash, wanted to try and make a waterless wash system using hot water/O&R ect but not sure if itll be able to be done dirty and come out scratchless.

Is it the same as a quick detailer? Great info yet again Yvan and Nick

Done it and worked well, took some time but when you park outside and you don’t have a hose… you got to do what you gotta do

I found foam/rinse /waterless wash is actually just as good but more time efficient than the foam/rinse/foam method

I get the concern, and mostly agree, but I decided to test it on my personal vehicle for fun, which sits outside and hadn’t been washed in months. Using a quality rinseless wash diluted 64:1 with high-quality microfiber towels, I heavily treated each panel, and surprisingly, it handled dirt and road film really well—no scratching, no grabby or sticky feeling on the paint.

Of course, I wouldn’t recommend this for customers, and it’s not what I personally use regularly, however it worked great. 🤷‍♂️

I think it really comes down to risk tolerance and personal preference. If someone is heavily limited on water and doesn’t want to use a bucket, but still wants a safer and better result than a tunnel wash, it seems like a viable option in the right circumstances. Especially if it has a recent sealant or coating that makes the cleaning effortless and a light colored car such as white preferably.

Does the waterless wash contain any ceramic protection?

Even when it's that dirty, if I were to do a careful waterless wash, it would be less damaging than a typical commercial hand wash, or a tunnel wash. That's been my experience. The downside is that it's very time consuming.

Please make a video on the importance of rinsing off the vehicle before foaming. Especially for us in the mobile detailing community. I can't stress it enough especially dark colored vehicle in direct sunlight. Ty!

I'm very confused. I really like your videos and I appreciate your knowledge.
What about that red vehicle that you guys cleaned that was towed behind a RV during winter and it was NASTY with salt and grime.
How is this statement not contradicting that video?

Sorry I know a guy that does it and will use foam on a dirty car but I definitely seen this guy do full detail even tires no water. Client game out the roof.
