Have both. Nord2 is an awesome phone. No important drawbacks compared to the 9. The OP 9 however has a tiny bit better battery life (I don't get it why, but still it does), and if you use it for work, then it seems more stable OS or CPU wise. The Nord2 tend to lag. Not that it's really an issue, but when you get used to the uber smoothness of literally everything on a 9, then it's apparent on the Nord2. So the Nord2 is fantastic, until you try the 9 for a couple of days. So just dont. The 9 is a better phone. The price difference isn't really justifiable though IMHO.

OnePlus 9 pros: better display, better performance (in theory), more cameras for more scenarios.
OnePlus Nord 2 pros: better video stabilization, better night photos on main camera (because of OIS), CPU isn't so hot, a little better battery life, better price
OnePLus 9 cons: throttling, no OIS
OnePlus Nord 2 cons: no optical zoom, display is not great

Sound is almost never mentioned by tech sites! And I'm not talking just about speaker quality which some mentions. I'm talking about sound settings and if there's the superb Dolby Atmos support. And which Bluetooth 5 version the phone has is also very important for the sound quality to headphones. OnePlus 9 with Snapdragon should indeed have Dolby Atmos but I have never heard of a Mediatek chip with Dolby Atmos. These sounds quality things should be mentioned way more often because then after buying a phone many are complaining on support sites that why isn't my Nord 2 having Dolby Atmos 😭.

How did you come up that the Mediatek Dimensity 1200 is on par with the Snapdragon 870??? Do you have a solid scientific study of it??? Or you’re like other YouTuber who are easily influenced by what others tell???

I could imagine the n2 is able to beat the 9, coz of the ois.
