Would you please help me with a doubt.
The form factor being ratio of displacement thickness to momentum thickness is around 2.59 for laminar and lill greater ghan 1 for turbulent. So lesser the value, more fuller the velocity profile would be, so can we say that a fuller velocity profile will have a less probability of flow separation always? i.e. Should form factor be less if we dont want flow separation? And how can the velocity profile be fuller or not fuller for external flows, as the concept of fuller velocity profile (low form factor) sounds better for pipe flows.
