Why do they call it a drum and bugle when all the brass had valves? Bugles do not have valves.

A really nice video of the Commandants Own marching along the street. Thanks for posting. The full drum line is missing, but this is still an impressive formation scaled down! I'd like to just add that the "Presidents Own" Marine Band (without the 'Corps') is the correct name when referring to the United States Marine Band. There are, however, Marine Corps Field Bands throughout our Corps. Semper Fi!
