I have that version of the Cimarron and also a Holiday. I am new to Finch and so far thay are fantastic. I just wish they had a hidden lanyard placement. I do like lanyards, but I prefer the creativity of the hidden type over the hole in the scales.

Agree on the too-high price. I do think the materials argument gets legitimately reawakened here. Though more must be taken into consideration than just materials, you do have to ask how much better it really is than, as someone else mentioned here, the very competent $35 Harnds Wind in the same materials and with a very similar look and likewise made in China. Or a few of the $35 Ruikes.

What is Finch really bringing to the table here beyond that nice clip? Tolerances? Smoothness? Something else?

And is it really worth $55 more than the above? That's up to the individual but ultimately I agree that this nice looking knife is too expensive relative to its peers. Or at least I think that without having held it.

I would like one of these and think it would make a great gent-ish EDC, just not at this price.

Got a harnds wind almost identical mine less than $40 and weighs less

It's the knife the original CRKT/Ruger LCK wanted to be. Take care of yourself out there, MC.

This knife is a Microtech Ultratech, it's identical in size, when my Microtech arrived I was very disappointed, it took me 1 day to realize its identical to the Finch minus a button.

That is a very EDC friendly Knife. I agree about the Billboards Laser etched on the blades, that’s the only thing I sort of dislike about some Microtech Knives is the “I’M A F-ING MICROTECH” on the Blade lol.. It is a Microtech though so yeah warranted I guess.. stay safe and well...

You can get a Stinger from Ferrum Forge in Nitro-V for the same price. I would definitely buy this in Nitro-V. Steve's Raven watches are fantastic.

Hope you’re doing well MC. Wold be more interesting if it was 154CM.

I generally like 14C28N. Sure, this feels a little expensive for 14C28N. I've also seen 14C28N in more expensive knives from TwoSun and Bestech, often with premium scale materials. You can get S35VN or M390 in this price range but if the heat treatment isn't great, how much better is it? (See some of Outpost 76's tests. Maybe he'd like to do this one?)

I had one in my cart but decided on something else. Honestly I'd rather grab 2 civivis for same price. Nice looking knife though

I’m really glad you reviewed this knife! I like the brand, I’m just not sold on that knife based on the steel of that blade. 😅 I love 14c28N... I’m sure the Cimmaron us built very well... but to my understanding D2 is an upgrade from 14C28N. For 2021 Kershaw is “upgrading” a lot of their line to D2 😅. It’s an odd choice for the price

Lots of your comparisons could use the benchmade 940. It'd work
