Also, I'd like to point out that Bruce took much much longer to get over Catwoman ditching him at the alter, and could never actually get over it in the end, while it took him almost no time to get over Alfred's death. In fact he seemed to be much happier at the end of the day. Let that sink in. It's up to Tomasi and Tynion to deal with the fallout of Alfred's death rather than King the guy who killed him.

I’m so glad Tom King took the brave nuance stance of not letting Batman and Catwoman get married officially. Not like any other writer can come in and just...undo this relationship with minimal effort or anything.

Well it's over; the absolute worst run in Batman history is finally over.

The characters that were ruined the stories that made no sense, and the sheer arrogance that was personified in these pages. It is finally over. Screw King's pretentiousness.

Joel, you're the real hero for suffering through these past 3 years of garbage; you have my undying respect good sir.

I'm glad we can put this chapter of batman behind us. King's version of the character was the most incompetent and frustrating I've ever seen. Not only that I don't want to see catwoman for a very long time, Tom King damn near ruined the character for me.

It's finally over I'm going to admit I was one of those few people that would hope for a wedding and then the cop out at the end of the issue I'm just like I mean they loved each other so, cool I guess. I'll be curious to see how screwed up or how interesting the Batman Catwoman series will go especially considering if they're going the route of having the Andrea Beaumont Phantasm involved.
