I grew up with a mother that constantly put me down, even in public. Then had relationships with men that did the same thing. I’ve been single for over 4 yrs and this is the most peace I’ve had in my life and I’m losing weight and feeling great! But those critical thoughts still sneak in. I went to the mirror. I intended to speak about my appearance. Instead I forgave myself for not saving my daughter who I miscarried in 2013. I spoke it out loud 3 times. I feel such a weight lifted. I feel I look different instantly. Not what I expected, but what I needed. Thank you.

Friends told me after I left a toxic relationship and moved to another area I looked happier, younger and more relaxed and confident even though I don't feel much different from back then. Being away from the constant negativity and being appreciated by true friends made such a big difference. At the moment I am very happy with the way I look, where I live, my work and the people surrounding me. Also I found my "soulmate" in this new area.
