The amazon is like Skull island but in real life, everything is either huge or very deadly.

the pacu is now a pest in parts as it was introduced in to rivers for fishing. the areas in which it was added can't sustain the fish on vegetation so they've become super aggressive destroying other species and attacking villagers regularly

Candiru is by far the scariest, I watched a documentary on it when I was a kid, scarred me for life.

Awesome video. Though I am a Multi-Species located in Philadelphia right now, I was born and raised in Brazil. Caught some Pacu, Piranhas, etc. Awesome fellas. I am going back to Brazil for a fishing trip next year. Hopefully I will land some monsters. Micro-fish for some Candiru. Hahaha. Tight lines!

pacu fish eat anything if their normal food isn't available. fisheries placed them in New Guinea..they took over the river systems and over populated thinning their vegetation food supply so they now eat all the other fish and the occasional local if given the chance
