Rosa parks stood up and fought, I admire her strength, even though she might of been afraid at times, she remained strong bless her, God love this woman

Honest to God this is one of, if not, THE most powerful episode of Doctor Who ever and the fact that it came at a time when the show was hitting rock bottom (I'm sorry, Chris Chibnal was an appaling writer), this episode was utter gold.

Parks had a scooter🛴 to scoot around and didn't ever need to take the bus when late or in the gridlock how she hated public transportation.

Say what you will about the chibnall era, chibnall, Jodie and 13th doctor but this episode and this scene was great.

This was handled beautifully. Often times during the Chibnall era the political messaging became really muddled and dragged down the story (see: the following episode, “Arachnids in the UK”), but this episode and “Demons of the Punjab” integrated them seamlessly and to really great effect. Forcing the Doctor and company to be on the wrong side of history in order to preserve the moment is a painful and brilliant touch. Yeah it’s not subtle, but can you really afford to be subtle in stories like this, especially with hatred and bigotry seemingly more on the rise with each passing year?
