Experience Detroit Airport's (DTW) Express Tram Ride

The Detroit Wayne County Airprot McNamara Terminal has a unique Tram system to enable faster passenger connections within its on-mile-long concourse. The tram line is about 3700 feet in length, with three stations. There are two trams connected to separate cables that pull them along. They run on a single-track guideway with a passing loop at the central terminal station. The trams do not run on wheels but on a cushion of air, which makes the ride very quiet, even for the passengers walking along the concourse below the tram. #dtw #expresstram #airportpeoplemover #detroit
