Honestly, if you're complaining that things are slow at level 20 in Palworld, you weren't learning and playing the game correctly. I didn't even notice a slowdown until level 43 or 44, truthfully, because that's the time I explored all of the areas. You haven't even remotely done that yet.

You need to set up 3 bases. One base should be 100% ore farm. The 2nd should be a 50/50 ore/coal farm. Make both of these bases production capable of spheres and make them self-sufficient (pal fluids are the only item you need to farm outside of the base - everything else should be made at these bases or you can buy at various vendors). You can farm Quartz and Sulfur in areas as you need them - there's no need to make bases for them.

Then have a 3rd base just dedicated to making cakes and breeding while also farming endless paladium fragments via the Crusher and charcoal via the Furnace to supply the other 2 bases, since you need Charcoal for ammo and Paladium fragments for Pal Ingots and Legendary Spheres.

You should be swimming - absolutely swimming - in the best spheres you can craft and have hundreds of them at any given time. No excuses why you can't level up by using these spheres to mass catch Pals for experience bonuses.

I have hundreds of legendary spheres, and even I am suffering from the "Effigy bug" since I maxed it out and I still have hundreds of spheres despite my catches being lower than they should be. Just set up your bases properly - that's the lesson here.

Stop using low-level spheres and do things more efficiently by using the best spheres you can make. The game is about productivity and efficiency, not about using the least expensive resources possible. You need to optimize your productivity at your bases so you can feel free to use the most expensive, best stuff you have access to. You should never, ever say, "Oh, this Sphere is expensive to make. It's too good to use!" That's a mindset that will almost certainly make the game feel grindy for sure. Instead, you should be asking how to make this seemingly expensive sphere cheap.

Dungeons are good for ancient civilization parts which you need to craft those schematics you find. You can go the whole game and never need to craft those schematics but they are improvements on the base item you unlock with your tech points.

I feel if pokemon wanted to stop them they'd have done cease and desist while it was being made from the video trailers 2 years ago.

They shut down fan games fast so I would assume a paid product would've been on top of their list.

Your negatives are already adjustable within the games settings. You probably weren't aware you can adjust your worlds rates, for example gathering rate and catch rate. If anything seems too difficult or annoying you have the power to change that.

If gamefreak studios hasn't did anything by now, trailer was released years ago, everyone saw the 'pals' and how similar they were, I dont think they are going to/can do anything about it. Similarities sure, but I think there is enough creative differences that they can't be sued? Like how much more different and unique can you make a wolf, a monkey, a penguin?

It does have some similarities to Pokémon like capturing animals that have abilities but that’s about it. It’s got more of a survival aspect to it. Kinda like you are on your own with tools that are animals in palworld. Pokémon you are on a adventure with animals that are friends

You can go into game settings and change practically everything you mentioned took too long or made it too grindy which is also a cool feature they let you change it so you can enjoy it your own way.

I've been playing it like I used to play games when I was younger. I just can't put it down. I'm a fan.
