Saudaá Group - Armenia

Saudaá Group questions the poetic dimension of music through accomodating acoustic sets, through using the automatic organ in a contemporary approach, and through producing powerful, repetitive sound textures. From the begining to the end of 2016, Saudaá Group was involved in a one-year-long tour with his barrel organ to experiment with locals, update a 3-centuries-old instrument and share a music strongly connected to life and "magic".

Music by Alexis Paul, played along with Miqayel Voskanyan (Tar), and Vardan Harutyunyan (fiel recordings) on october 2016 in Yerevan, Armenia, during a residence at ICA and ACSL. Field recordings from Sevan lake, Bangladesh district and Yerevan.
