Hey, it’s Jackie, and welcome back to another POP CULTURE tutorial!🎀With the WICKED movie finally out and the release of the r.e.m. x WICKED makeup collection, I thought it would be fun to revisit Ariana Grande's Glinda makeup look. I’ve already done tutorials for her Ozdust Ball look and an Elphaba-inspired style, but today, let’s recreate Glinda's iconic look using the stunning r.e.m. collection. I’ll also rank the products to let you know which ones are worth the splurge! 💕

THE r.e.m. beauty REVIEW

Highly recommend! They smell amazing, are super moisturizing, and can be used under foundation, on the chest, or as a gorgeous highlight for doll-like skin.

Lipstick: A super wearable pink with adorable limited-edition packaging.
Blush: A bright pink that blends beautifully, especially paired with the Glow Drops.
Blue Eyeliner & liquid shadow: Unfortunately, I didn’t love these. The liner broke easily, and the shade wasn’t as pearly or iridescent as I’d hoped. The purple-pink liquid eyeshadow shade is pretty but a bit patchy. I prefer buttery shimmer shadows for smoother application personally!

Creates a vibrant, warmer pink. For cooler pinks like Glinda’s, I recommend their Tulip Lip Stains. Love the unique packaging for this product as well. Recommend using lipliner with lip stains!

While I LOVE the design of the palette (light green and gold colour combo are top tier), I found the shimmers less impactful compared to the ONE/SIZE Wicked on Broadway collection. The r.e.m. palette leans neutral, but you’ll need to build up the shimmers for a bolder eyeshadow look.

Super cute, fun additional product that serves GALINDA! I prefer eye creams so I didn't buy this one but kinda wish I did!

What I’d Recommend Most
Most versatile: Galinda Glow Drops 🌟
Best collectible: Galinda Set (50% must-haves, 50% okay)
Eyeshadow swap: Replace the r.e.m. palette with the ONE/SIZE Wicked on Broadway palette for better shimmer and pigment payoff.

My Thoughts on the Movie
I was blown away by the sets, costumes, and music! As someone relatively new to WICKED after seeing the play this summer, I loved the film even more than the play because getting to see the actors’ expressions up close made me cry quite quickly. ELPHABA ❤️‍🩹

While I adore Glinda’s style, I think her kindness towards Elphaba at the ball was mostly transactional after Elphaba vouched for her sorcery lessons. Over time, though, I believe she genuinely grows because of Elphaba’s strong moral compass. Love ELPHIEE. Galinda is hilarious but is in desperate need of growth lol.

Great collection! I bought my first LV when I was 25 and I've only used that bag a few times haha. Also, I love your clutch! I have an Eva clutch with the DE print and I love the little chain. But I don't want to spend that much money right now and the kislux always gets me the bag I want and it's just as good as the LV and one of my favorites. Durability

They should have made you Ariana’s makeup artist for the movie. Your look is so much more natural and vibrant. I’m not sure why they made her eyebrows look bleached and invisible and her skin so pale. Adding a slightly darker blond, eyebrows, and rosy cheeks would have improved the look. You have the Galinda look nailed.
