Can you trust the quality of Chinese-made electric cars?

Nobody is more aware of the poor quality of Chinese-made EVs than the Chinese themselves. These are brand new BYD EV cars being shipped to a retail shop on April 4th in Hebei, and were ignited and caught fire on the truck. This parked EV on a Chongqing street and started burning on its own. This Hainan driver looked helpless as he watched his EV going up in flames.
