Awesome! He can really sing specially the high notes. Only the emotions should be more emphasized which is what the song implies.

Well, they got a voice that can actually hit the notes. Kudos to the singer, it's not an easy song to sing. If I were him, I might politely ask my boss Frankie Sullivan to stop stepping all over my vocal with impromptu guitar riffs (some of which are just plain out of tune). I might also politely (and privately) ask my boss's son, the drummer, to play exactly what Marc Droubay originally played instead of adding knick-knacks that detract from the song. Everything is just so distracting as this kid is trying to do this song justice on vocals. Peterik wrote a great song here, and Nevison produced it perfectly. It doesn't need to be "improved." Just my opinion. That said, I enjoyed this rendition.
