Nice! It's hard to believe that bikes like that even exist.

These machines often frighten first time riders with the Torque they pull wheelies easy 😊, beautiful tyres on this baby ❤

I had a 74 175 I bought from my welding instructor at Lincoln Electric in 77. He'd raced it pro flat track and it came with 2 handmade expansion chambers. It was an exciting ride for sure! Used to kill the 250's in a drag race on grass.

I love the bike, old can-ams. I had a 1979 370 qualifier

That's a stunning gem. Beautiful. It sounds a bit similar to the Bombardier Rotax powered single cylinder SkiDoo snowsleds that I've owned. I'd rather have the bike than a snowsled these days

I like that. All your 2 strokes idle perfectly. Thats saying something about your mechanical skills in house

Again with the flashbacks. Not sure what gives me more, your videos or those microdots from the 70s.

I totally forgot those were rotary valve engines. I always like them... Canadian Baloney Cutter!

What Can-Am lacked in handling they made up for in the power department. Another beautiful bike, I’d love to go shopping at KC

I remember those iconic machines arriving at the dealer, back in the day, but I never noticed that even the kickstand was on the wrong side. Wow. In hindsight, it's only surprising that Bombardier didn't "French" the throttle, clutch, brakes, and gear shift.

Great looking bike. There were some fast dual purpose bikes and mx bikes made by Can Am.

I’m convinced there’s a time machine somewhere in that old factory!

I've got a 1975 175 tnt like that, although it's not as pretty. Maybe someday I'll have time to give it the attention it deserves!

What a great old building. Is that an old factory?

From what I remember CanAm had a very strong, fairly flat power curve. Not flat then bang, they pulled hard from the bottom to the limit when tuned properly..
