Dominik Carevic, born on 03.02.1998 in Zagreb, Croatia. Started playing guitar at the age of 11 at the Music School Ivan Zajc with prof. Hrvoje Ton and immediately showed a distinct talent for music. He continued his education at the Art School Fortunat Pintarić in Koprivnica with prof. Antonio Rumenović where he completed three years of high school and enrolled in University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz (Austria) in the class of prof. Paolo Pegoraro.
He has won more than 20 awards at various national and international competitions, among which the most important are: 1st place on the International Guitar Festival ˝José Tomás Villa de Petrer¨(Spain) 2019,1st place on the International Guitar Competition Bale-Valle 2016, 1st place on the International Guitar Festival Rust 2017 (Austria), 1st place on the European Classical Guitar Competition Enrico Mercatali 2016 Gorizia (Italy), 1st prize on the International Competition Porecki Tirando 2016 (Croatia), 1st place on the International Tremolo Guitar Fest 2016 Skopje (Macedonia), 1st prize on the Omiš Guitar Fest˝ 2014, 1st place on the Zagreb Guitar Festival 2016 (Croatia), 1st place on the European Classical Guitar Competition Enrico Mercatali 2013 Gorizia (Italy), 2nd place on ˝Anna Amalia Competition for Young Guitarists˝ 2017 Weimar( Germany).
