Coronavirus medication: What works, what doesn't | COVID-19 Special

Remdesivir, Leronlimab, Lopinavir, Ritonavir, Chloroquine, Hydroxychloroquine - just some of the many medications currently being tested as treatments for Covid-19. What they all have in common is that they were originally developed to treat other diseases. As yet there are no reliable studies demonstrating safety and efficacy against the coronavirus disease. Yet politicians such as Donald Trump are hailing them as breakthroughs in treatment. But of how much use can they actually be? Or can some of them prove more to do more harm than good?

Montelukast is an anti-inflammatory pill that asthmatics can take to prevent asthma attacks. It's currently in phase 3 trials for studying it's efficacy in reducing the worst symptoms of C19 after a positive test in patients 40+.

I'll tell you - my husband takes it daily for asthma and has tested positive a week ago. He has NO SYMPTOMS at all!

Guy: Would you prescribe this (remdesivir) to me?'
4:20 Clueless grandpa: 'Yes, it has been described (no prescribed). Has been effective for ebola (wrong)''

It's funny how they approve antivirals for use in severely ill patients while antivirals are most effective early in illness.

I only can wonder how much thought they have given to natural antiviral resources. There are many. Conifer resin being one, that heals tissue DNA as well. Mullein plant being a second antiviral resource which also promotes normal lung and sinus function. I've been taking both since this began being an essential employee. Both are readily harvested around the world.
Please share if you care. *disclaimer: not much has been tested. Natural products are safe if you do your research first. There are many toxins in the wild that will kill you faster than covid*

The 50-year-old antiviral drug Amantadine is showing very promising results, and is headed to additional clinical trials this month. The efficacy of Amantadine was discovered by accident, due to it being widely prescribed for Parkinson's, MS, chronic fatigue, and other health issues. Doctors worldwide have been reporting that their patients taking Amantadine during this past year have not been getting sick or dying, even after testing positive for COVID-19. This medication is also dirt cheap, which is a plus.

The world is a place of uncertainty. We don't know exactly how we came and when we will go.
The more we try to know about this world the more anxiety we add to our lives.
Feel happy until death.

Dr Chris Martenson exposed a flaw in the meta analysis on a drug I cant spell, not helping when the methodology behind the analysis is potentially very flawed.

They tried Viagra? It was originally prescribed for Angina till some men noticed a wonderful side effect. If you feel randy you won't feel sick.
