I'm a moba player who has been playing Deadlock mostly like a shooter - focusing on mainly aiming and timing and movement. It's been a fun way to get into the game, but this video opens me up to the more moba elements of the game beyond lane mechanics. Stuff like counter-builds, optimising jungling, etc. feels more like home and makes me more comfortable about playing this long term 🙂

Pro Tip: Don't get mad when you lose because you had bad teammates, focus on your wrongs, your gonna learn more this way and have more fun in general.

Double tap and hold are bad as there are some self cast abilities that can not be used with those setting as of I know. On bebop you need to have a modifier button to use the hook on an ally, with double tap the ability will be casted as normal on the first tap and so you don't have the chance to cast modified ability. Same goes for bebop bomb that can be self casted using a modifier button, but not double tap or hold.
