I've also noticed that now if I stand straight, I feel better, like more deserving, self confident, feel automatically more self secure, self aware, with more self esteem, energized and attractive, not only because I do look better with that posture, but it changes the way I feel, dramatically and practically instantly most of the time. I've always been considered very attractive, but even then I still never actually felt thay way, and I notice that if I stand straight I immediately feel that way. Which in the end it's the only important thing. How we feel. You can have anything positive in yourself but if you don't feel that way, its like if you didn't. I'm writing my experience here in case it can help anyone improve and feel better. Posture is extremely important and one of the main things which has helped me get over depression. A HUGE one, I've never met anyone with a worse depression than mine. Positive thinking (sounds VERY cliché and annoying but works after many repetitions) and a change of posture have helped immensely, like more than any medicine and psychotherapy I've taken. Now I feel good most of the time. So, anyone who's reading this, yes, posture helps, please help yourself and improve !

I've been working on correcting my anterior pelvic tilt for the past year. I imagine my mood will greatly increase once I manage to make a significant improvement :)

I have generalized anxiety and I constantly on and off medication. When I get stressed out all my muscles get tight. Like so tight normal/light exercise hurts and I gain turtle posture. I have to spend weeks stretching before actually working out. Your channel helps me a lot and thank you for all of the videos you have created. Our brain controls the body at the end of the day if the brain is not okay it will be rare the body is also okay.

When I started standing straight I felt similar, like if I was vekng aggressive and also felt vulnerable... Ive realized sometimes we're educated in a way they make us feel like we have to reduce ourselves to be "nice" or good and that translates into the body. Then when we try standing the healthy way, it feels weird, like if we didnt deserve it. At least that was my experience at the beginning and sometimes it comes back and then I just analize it. It doesnt make sense but yes I've felt vulnerable just by standing straight and chest open.

I think it's a chicken or the egg situation. Sometimes you sit all the time and have bad posture and start to feel bad because of your posture. However, other times you feel bad and your posture than becomes bad.
