I've found it much easier to control a spinning Cessna with a woman screaming at the top of her lungs directly in my ear. Really helps with the concentration.

The stall horn sounds like that because it’s an actual horn, it’s not an electronic device it’s basically a a broken clarinet shoved into the wing that will only play when the aoa is high enough that wind can enter the tube.

CFR 14 91.307 parachutes are required for any maneuver which exceeds 60 degrees bank or 30 degrees pitch. The reg goes on to make an exception for when a CFI or ATP is giving instruction in a maneuver required for a certificate or rating.

To get a nice over-the-top entry, at least in the Cessna series aircraft, wait until 5 knots above the stall then rapidly snatch the stick back into your lap. This was taught to me by an aerobatics instructor in a 10-hour program in which we started in the Cessna 150 Aerobat for 6 hours then moved up into the Pitts S-2B for 4 hours. It gives you a more crisp and defined spin entry, plus if you are in an acro competition it looks better from the ground for the competition judges.
