I played this game 3 times now. 1 with 2 players and 2 with 3 players. I start to control that chaos that it had in the start. The iconography now its not that a big deal and the "simply - but not so simply" deckbuilding that the game have, with the buildings interaction with it its good. I like this game its not my favorite but i like it. And for sure i agree with you ITS BRUTAL some times.

I always found the way deck builders always have just two possible oppening hand usually a facinating and ingenious design decision. If a deck builder dosen't have that it needs a damn good reason.

Hey Tom, I'm very interested in this game, but agree from your description that a 2 hour game would seem like a real frustration. Do you think if you played with a increased hand size variant or additional buy cards in your starting deck it would make the game faster/funner?

Theres a ton of obstacles when building your business (which is why i dont mind the mostly useless obstacle cards) and its not easy. Ive played the game 5-7 times and I like it...its not in my top 10 but I like how different it is that I will prob keep a hold of it.

Everyone's number one complaint has been the slow start with only 3 buys in your deck. IMO if they made it any more than that you wouldnt have anything to build up to. It would be too easy to buy anything you wanted. I get that it would speed up the game but it would also detract from the theme. Starting a business is not easy.

The Die in the intro sounds like Claptrap.

i dont know why i always defend this game but i find myself doing it. But heres some of my thoughts. The icons are not bad after 2-3 plays you have them down and your good to go. I think Artripia Games wouldve been better served calling this a "company building game" rather than deckbuilder. I feel like the engine is in your companies not in your deck in this game.
