Why do so many people hate on Cars 1? It was awesome. (not talking about cars 2 at all). Cars 1 had a great plot, good character development, and epic animation. And, if you're a car enthusiast like myself, then it was that much better. The fact that they put the idea of drifting into a kids movie is amazing and I loved it for that.

I think the reason why Cars 1 is so loved because it’s one of those films. You would have to grow up with it or see it as a kid to really love it today as an adult.

What he did was beautiful and sincere and does give off the noble message “my time has come. I’m done. It’s their time” even tho he hasn’t retired. But I wanted to see him overcome the biggest odds and win through strategy, skill, and a little speed and solidly his greatness over all the rest of the cars. Maybe in cars 4. Bring back Jackson storm for his loss to the Greatest of all time Lightening McQueen.

I loved Cars as a kid. It has a special place in my heart. They really shouldn't have made any sequels.

This year is about movies with cars - Fate of the furious, Baby driver, Cars 3, Transformers... and everyone thought its year of comic book movies (which every year is)
