Caves & Ruins pt.2 (Don't Starve Reign of Giants - Beginner's Guide Series)

Welcome to Part 2 of my Beginner's Guide Series coverage of the Caves and Ancient Ruins. In this episode we'll be focusing on the biomes, residents, and resources found in the Single Player Don't Starve cave level, though I will mention many of the differences from Don't Starve Together. I'll also go over underground base building so you can live below the surface as long as you like, with tips on food and resources.

I noticed cave ponds also don't freeze over during the winter, great for off season fishing or refilling your watering cans in DST

Y'know i played this game a lot and survived a full season above ground, but i stopped playing because i always die in the caves mostly bc of the worms, and especially in the ruins because I don't know what to do there

I've read somewhere that you can maintain bee boxes down in the caves so long as the boxes and flowers get natural light. I'm trying to do it so I can make taffy and healing items during summer.
