It's truly amazing just how much effort Mr. Iwata put into Nintendo Direct. As a person with immigrant parents, I know it is especially difficult to speak English as a secondary language and be understood. This is a great example of his dedication to games, fans, and creating fun times for anyone and everyone.
RIP Iwata, enjoy yourself on the other side of the rainbow. We who are earthbound will never forget you and always understand!

Man this brought back so many memories. The year of luigi… I got my wii u in 2013 and I really admired how Nintendo gave little fun treats to the community (Which at this time was small and loyal). Iwata wanted to deliver the best experience to the gamer and the 3ds and wii u were killer consoles. The games were presented in a way that made it easy to follow yet it was informative. And miiverse and virtual console… Oh man. If Nintendo does another Year of Luigi it won’t be like this one from 2013 which was pure fan service.
