This is so wonderful. I was just thinking today that I need to edit some shortcuts to not run while I'm driving and lo and behold, there is an awesome video explaining a new feature to do just that!
I have to ask again though, Stephen (especially since you use menu shortcuts)...you have NEVER had a menu-based or folder-based shortcut stall where you needed to restart to get menu-based ones running again? I'm STILL experiencing that problem and I can't believe so many more people are not. I don't know if it's because I have so many shortcuts, am low on RAM (??), because I don't use "stop shortcut" in my shortcut scripts, etc. I have no idea and no one else does either.

I use Reminders as an easy way to capture things on my mind. When I hit the action button, it brings up a menu that allows me to:
link a photo to reminder
link screenshot to a reminder
write something down via the keyboard and add to reminder
dictate text and add to reminder
a few other things, loving the new start conversation w/ GPT 4o ;)

However I feel the dictate text is the weakest as I find there is friction in making sure my words are being transcribed correctly which means I don't use it very often. I'd prefer to just be able to speak naturally and have a recording of my actual voice.

I'm trying to find a way to link a Reminder to some sort of audio recording (surprised I couldn't link a Voice Memo), or even video (I can add a photo as an attachment, but if I try to link to a video, I just get an image of the first frame). Curious if anyone has had success with this use case

Can you comment on the “share location” shortcut? Throws up “frame load interrupted” every time this shortcut is run. And it’s broken ever since update to iOS 17.
FYI, share location shortcut works fine on iOS 15.8.2.
Apple support page also has several people complaining about this.
How’s the share location shortcut at your end?

Waiting on 17.4.1 release. 17.4 brought white screens, constant random reboots, loss of personal playlists.. I select the Shortcuts icon and the whole device locks up. After 3 DFUs, one by Apple..
