This video teaches you how to add custom scene transitions inside of OBS Studio. You can make use of the inbuilt transitions to switch seamlessly between scenes, or use professional stinger transitions.
To add a stinger transition you will need an alpha channel transition video to use. Using the stinger option inside of OBS you can then set when the transition needs to take place, and how. It is a good idea to have a few frames where the entire screen is covered to ensure that your transitions work smoothly.
OBS scene transitions can be used while recording or streaming. This can raise the level of your production and make it more professional.
