It’s a dirty move, no doubt. Uncalled for? Maybe. Chastain and Hamlin were racing hard for basically the whole race and Hamlin spent a lot of time mirror driving. I’m inclined to say it was a bad move, but also pretty much par for the season. Any two less polarizing drivers and it would have been a footnote.
