Intel CEO Brian Krzanich joined Walt Mossberg at the 2017 Code Conference to talk about how the mammoth microprocessor and chip company is moving into the future. Krzanich noted that Intel isn’t just a CPU company. They’re also making drones, for example, like the Shooting Star drones, hundreds of which flew at the Super Bowl halftime performance this year, all controlled by a single operator.

I'm so glad this guy is not Intel's CEO anymore. Really unsuitable

Nice to see the Intel CEO wearing the Tag Heuer Connect Android Wear device. I wish their processors were in some lower priced Android Wear devices too.

Yeah, Intel raised prices to such ludicrous levels where no one wants buys their high-end chips anymore and AMD coming to the rescue at half the price. Talking about AMD: In 2017 Intel totally caught on the wrong foot, unprepared (!), pushing out rushed products that don't work.
Since 2011 Intel improved performance only by a low single digit percentage year over year and now crying the PC market is shrinking. NO surprise if you still are in good shape with a 7 years old CPU!! People just didn't need to buy new PCs. The stagnation in the PC market was to some extend a self inflicted issue.
What's this exsanguinate bs about Frankenstein Notebooks, datacenters and autonomous cars? Absolutely no vision where Intel should be heading to. Dreaming about decentralized data centers and applied computer technology, forgetting obviously what Intel's core business is. AMD now providing high-end data center CPUs with 128 PCIe-lanes, quad-channel memory offering super high I/O bandwidth the cloud needs and leaving Intel stand by with dropped pants.

Lol interviewer seems like he's always trying to "son" the people on the show. Notice how we jokingly pushed the CEO around (body language)

Krzanich has no idea what he's talking about! What a joke.

Walt Mossberg, the interviewer is awesome. Great interview. Asking some great questions.

I understand why they let him go, but it was a mistake. To send the message of zero tolerance company-wide, he should have been suspended w/o pay. Now look at the predicament intel is in. From being the absolute leader in tech to fighting to play catchup.

But, hindsight is 20/20.

Interviewer talks so much, irritates and sometimes so annoying. He doesn't do it with Musk or Jobs interview. He had one of the most interesting guest. Yeah the guest is not Elon musk or bill gates, but you were able to ask about company who built the present and building the future. If I had a chance to talk to that man, I have so many question. Interviewer just lost that chance
