I bought a tool. It was 50$ and comes with every attachment I will ever need. It makes the job easy and some cars you have to actually turn the thing for it to compress. Mine can do that too

A good C clamp is a nice universal brake and head tool. Take a big C clamp, weld a 1 1/4" steel pipe, cut out two notches in the pipe and you got yourself a caliper compressor and a valve spring compressor.

Open the bleeder screw when doing this, you don’t want the old brake fluid going back into the reservoir.
