French Cleats: Working on the Wall

Wonder about the system I use to secure my substrate to the wall? I talk about that in this video. The system works for wood panels and canvases. A carpenter made the French Cleats in my studio. The Amazon link below is for metal ones should you want to check out a pre-made possibility. Please know I have not used metal ones, so this is not a recommendation, but rather an option.
