Thanks for the review! I think Inmotion is doing great things with their models, but still today, I don't see any safer wheel out there that still gives you the thrill is the V13. It is hands down the best EUC out there right now, when you factor safety in.

I want one! I have a V12HT which i like but the lack of suspension is killing me and rattling my teeth. Your review has me now saving to get one ASAP. Hopefully soon as I am 72 and don't know how long I have to ride. Thanks for the info. You never disappoint.

5:04 Nope. Legal only from UL2849 pov, but still illegal no matter how much bias you put in and how much you want to push Inmotion. There are multiple reasons, the most important is missing the secondary braking system (all motor vehicles must have safety brakes) and no signal lights.

3:03 😮 NO WAY! Somehow must have missed this memo…..I had no idea they upped the top speed with the new firmware, not that I’ll ever hit it but good to have the overhead!

15+min not ever wasted with your reviews and discussions! Perhaps I kept missing it, was the V2's updated range mentioned?

I Am excited to put in my order with eWheels this season!

Hey firstly nice Festool .. secondly for city mobbin doing like little wall drops, stairs an air catches, how would it handle wipeouts ? Also steep steep inclines how would it rate against say the patton.. also hard launch/hard stop ? Basically an all around reliable demon wheel ?

I think the most amazing thing about this wheel, or one wheels in general, is that you do not need to stop at red lights :-)

I take my Batch-1, V14 out mountain biking every weekend. I love it. Are there any issues I should know about, because it's rock solid

Although I find the Lynx, Extreme and even the EtMAX to be good wheels, this summer my choices went to a s16pro and a v14 mainly for esthetic reasons. I'm not a fan of the scrapyard look of Begode wheels nor of the military style of Veteran.
I assume that I like the bling bling of Kingsong and IM. I'm not a performance rider neither.
But you're right, they could have reduces the weight a little..

Great content! One question I have missed is the strength of wheels. Having such a soft wheel on my Sherman op even with the replacement wheel it's still wimpy. Of these new wheels which are significantly strong Linx Patton extreme v14 the mini even the new etmax any thoughts on wheel integrity

Exciting but I want to see that UL certification come through. It's crazy seeing e-mobility stands in front of places that once allowed them indoors.

Lynx vs V14? That is the 4k $ question.

I just got the v14 as my first wheel. Loving it. I have a hard time feeling stable over 30 mph so I'm glad to see someone's able to push it to the max speed without struggling. Also good to know it's just firmware limited to that speed. I thought it might be dangerous to take it that fast.

I’m not so hardcore, my main wants are being reliable/weatherproof, lightish weight (60 pounds or less), and being able to go to 40 mph or so for sprints, comfortable cruising at 30 mph or so. I do like many things about this wheel, but it’s more than I want since I ride mostly city streets and take on trains or in stores. I love the maintenance ideas and weatherproofing, I’d buy the hell out of this in a v12/11 kind of thing at $2, 000 or less.

Wheel hunting, so rewatched 👍
It would seem there isore negative than positive on this wheel out there.
I would dare say it should be ar same price point as the Patton S.
Cheers

scary. I got a L&H Bullitt kitted to 70 kph and that's still scary. I can't imagine riding little more than boots at that speed. If you ever fell with a bike you know the pain... if you haven't yet, let us know from the hospital!

Great video! The speed issue for some of us is a safety issue, I live in Mexico City and 43 is not enough for some streets, today I ride a v12 ht and hs, y like the power of the HT breaking and the stability of the tire, (in some areas 43 is unsafe to ride) I like the HS for the speed that seems to be the minimum speed for some streets that you can ride safely, but I just ride the mower board braking and acelerating, so the power is not enough at least for me 85 krider )I am looking for the Lynx (even I have 2 inmotion wheels that I love)

Does the V14's headroom make it any safer for heavier riders?
