Adding Fractions, Subtracting Fractions, Visually Representing Fractions

Learn to add and subtract fractions efficiently, and find the Lease Common Denominator (LCD). The LCD is exactly the Least Common Multiple (LCM) of all denominators. Addition of fractions and subtraction of fractions must have a common denominator.

We add unlike fractions, where the denominator must be modified by multiplying by the same number numerator and denominator. In other examples, we show unlike fractions for subtraction, and also find a common denominator.

We discuss the prime numbers between 1 and 100 in this video. We describe why they are important to Greatest Common Factor (GCF) or Least Common Multiple (LCM).
