I bought this watch in the late ‘90s. I still have it and really like it’s look. Great watch for my camping and hunting trips. Also works well when you wear earth tones.

My first watch was a white dial stainless steel case and bracelet Seiko I got from my parents for Christmas 1980. It was branded as SeikoQuartz and has a stylized SQ on the dial since the quartz crisis was stil lingering and "quartz" was a marketing tool back then. I still have and wear it 42 years later.

I'm from the 90s as well. My first three watches (which I no longer own) were: this Chinatown kids watch in which the module transformed into a small robot ‐ the sentimental value is priceless. Second watch was a small and slick Swatch watch with glow-in-dark bumper guards. Lastly one of my favorites was the Timex Expedition 100m Nylon and Leather strap rebranded as the Times Expedition Atlantis - still available for sale.

Citizen Chandler is my first. Love it. Wear it almost every day.

Interesting watch. Can it set two times independently?
Ex: my current time is 15:24 (displayed analog) ... and I set the digital time to 00:00:00. Is that possible?
Thank you.

Agreed hands are a little stumpy but my guess is that's to keep them from covering the digital display twice a day

A Timex LED watch in the late seventies for my birthday. I always remember I was the only one in my school to have one..🤗

On mine, I found that the bezel needs to be exercised when new to get it to work properly. When new, I almost thought it didn't rotate because it was so stiff.
Solution . . . a couple tiny dabs at the end of a toothpick of a very light weight oil between the bezel and the case and then rotating it counter-clockwise for about 10 minutes. There does appear to be more resistance clockwise, enough that I believe Timex did intend the bezel to be unidirectional.
It now rotates smoothly and much easier. It even has a nice clicking feedback.

Perfect home watch for me: beater, I can read the time at night without glasses, accurate, water resistant, light, eternal calendar with week day and a second time zone. Inexpensive and thus can be replaced easily.

Can you set the digital and analog at two different times ?

My first watch was a hand winding Ruhla with a lion on it. Its eyes moved left to right in the second beat. ... I was 6y/o at the time.

Does those numbers on bezel fade away after some time

Apple watch, as a kid I had a love one and the calculator one

Cool little watch. Only thing I’m not wild about is the curved digital display but that’s subjective. The thing that keeps poking you on the band is probably some stitching

Btw my first watch was a timex Ironman I believe. The indiglow was my favorite thing about it.

Well, I don’t remember what I wore as a child (my dad got me one). After finishing my army service my dad bought me a Camel watch (yeh, the cigarettes company..), I didn’t know if back than- yet it was a field watch, and a nice one. Didn’t wear for long ‘cause I took it off when I traveled to south east Asia- didn’t want to “time” myself on that trip. My first real watch (as I consider) was a Seiko Arctura kinetic perpetual- which my dad got for me after my younger daughter was born.
The first watch I ever bought for my self, and it was only 2 years ago- was a Tudor Pelagos (blue dial). And it was only after my dad past away… since than I’ve purchased 20+ more watches- because every one of them is a conversation with my father. I miss our conversations. About watches. About everything.
