My theory is What If we put the Shy Guy in Red Reality and look at it's picture. Will he be able to get out and chase you. Or he's just gonna get stuck in that infinite time loop.

The exits randomly disappear, and 3008 is in a different dimension, so I wonder if looking at a picture of it would work

While yes he WOULD know where the exit is, the building itself is multidimensional. Exits don't lead to just one reality, making the chances of it escaping around someone see it's face significantly lower.

Honestly it sounds like 096 could be used to free people trapped in the Ikea. Send in an agent and 096. Just leave 096 in a section thats easily found and have the agent gather as many people as possible before a set time when an unlucky D class looks at 096s image. Then just follow 096 out.

What if they used this as a way to try and explore the infinite Ikea? since if shy guy escapes they can try to retrace its steps and if they can maybe they can finally get more info on the Ikea.

It would probably turn out the same way the test with 682 went. The employees chopped it in multiple pieces, boxed them up, and set the boxes outside the ikea where 682 proceeded to regenerate back to full.

This gives me an idea. The shy guy always runs in a straight line, A to B to get to whoever looked at its face. So what if SCP-084 was in between SCP-096 and the D class sacrificed for this experiment?
IDK if anyone has asked this before, so forgive me if this has already been covered.

Honestly, putting 096 in the Ikea would be terrible for the people trapped inside, as they’d now have to worry about a determined monster who will stop at nothing to kill them if they saw it’s face unless something on the outside does before them.

Imagine being stuck in the infinite ikea, and then also having to deal with the SCP throwing experiments inside.

since he speeds up depending on the distance of his target, then I imagine he'd reach lightspeed running through a theoretically infinite Ikea as he looks for the exit into the correct reality with his specific target there, and since there are infinite realities for 3008 to have exits to, then he'd be running for awhile, even if he can travel straight there at supersonic speed
so if someone did look at a photo from outside 3008, he'd probably fire out the exit so fast I'd kill everyone in a 10 mile radius
