SCP-096, but in BACKROOMS?!

This is a fan-made story about what would happen if SCP 096 no-clipped into the backrooms.

SCP 096 is a Euclid Class anomaly also known as The Shy Guy.

SCP-096 is a humanoid creature measuring approximately 2.38 meters in height. Subject shows very little muscle mass, with preliminary analysis of body mass suggesting mild malnutrition.
SCP096 is normally extremely docile, with pressure sensors inside its cell indicating it spends most of the day pacing by the eastern wall. However, when someone views SCP-096's face, whether it be directly, via video recording, or even a photograph, it will enter a stage of considerable emotional distress. SCP096 will cover its face with its hands and begin screaming, crying, and babbling incoherently. Approximately one (1) to two (2) minutes after the first viewing, SCP-096 will begin running to the person who viewed its face.

The Backrooms is an online urban legend and creepypasta which originated in a 2019 4chan thread about unsettling images. One of the first examples of liminal spaces — an internet aesthetic which includes usually busy locations depicted as unnaturally empty — the Backrooms are an endless maze of office rooms which are entered by "[noclipping] out of reality in the wrong areas".

As its popularity grew, internet users have expanded upon the original concept by creating different levels and entities which inhabit the Backrooms. Fan-made video games, collaborative fiction wikis and YouTube videos have also been inspired by the Backrooms. The most popular of these is a series of horror shorts by YouTuber Kane Parsons, known online as Kane Pixels, who is set to direct a film adaptation of his videos.

I feel like the shy guy would just be stuck on the same level just pacing or sitting since he is not the type of anomaly that explores but just wants to be left alone. I do like the idea of more anomalies of the scp world going to the backrooms.

Damn! Who would’ve thought that SCP-096 would end up in the Backrooms? Could this either be a relief for the SCP Foundation or a new problem to find the Shy Guy again? ASYNC has been connected to the origins of the Backrooms? Maybe this alternate reality is more than a sentient plane of existence than what meets the eye. Even SCP-343 knew about the Backrooms too.

Three things I have to comment on this video. I've been taking in A LOT of backrooms content, and while nothing is actually canon, I have can say these three things are fairly common.
1. On level 0, where most people end up, and it seems that SCP-096 and Adam started in, people are incapable of seeing each other, even if they are located in the same area. Probably due to some weird Euclidian space anomaly.
2. ASYNC didn't really know what they were doing for the most part, and certainly weren't expecting to open a portal to the backrooms, let alone have a plan to study it.
3. ASYNC referred to the backrooms as "the complex" and not the backrooms.

I’ve always wondered, isn’t a good strategy for the SCP to always have a picture of Shy Guys face as a last resort, for when he escapes and becomes hard to track down? You could use a D-class to look at the picture and capture the shy guy afterwards.

So we actually have a time for this one!!! (The quake in the backrooms videos) awesome attention to detail. How about if the shy guy met the unkillable reptile in the backrooms? Also couldn't the foundation have used a dclass and pic of 096 at the lab entrance to the backrooms to try to lure the shy guy back... Yet again the foundation proves not as smart as they think they are.

This video shows that backrooms have very little in common with any kind of reality - shy guy in rage state was able to chase SCP 507 (reluctant demention hopper) without much trouble but isn"t able to escape backrooms
