When less lethal tools don't work, people die. That is the problem we felt obligated to solve.

great product but personally worry about especially in the UK where tasers can and a lot of of the time will be used in close range where 1 trigger pull is all you'll get which is why having to fire 1 at a time can be worrisome

"Why did you hit him with all 10 shots?"

"Sir, I only had 10 shots."
😂🤣😂

If anything, why not, if possible, have the Taser 10 programmed, or maybe a switch similar to a safety switch, to shoot 2 probes, then 1 on the next trigger press, then 2 on the 3rd trigger press, then 1 on the 4th, and 2 on the 5th. Or maybe a mode where it only shoots the probes in pairs?

You know this one is going to be expensive

I need to see the real world applications. One probe at a time is worrisome. I thought it would’ve made more send to fire 2 probes the first trigger pull and then deploying one probe at a time if a connection wasn’t made with the first two.

I like the fact that it's high capacity. The flashlight and laser sight are also big pluses too. The biggesr thing is the farther range.

Okay.. But now you have to land two shots. how about the chance of them pulling out the initial one before any NMI happens with the second one having to land. I feel like there is a higher chance of failure to contain the problem, because there is now a time frame at which people can react. Am I missing something here? because this is just another big issue I see.

So... can this taser drive stun? Or is it only usable if you have appropriate standoff distance and contact shots?

Is there a price point and an availability date?

Why does an officer ever need to use lethal force. Because you're not stopping an active shooter, armed with a rifle with a taser.

This looks cool probe fired at a time? That sounds worse. It looks like the officer would have to aim both. I mean I guess it could be rapid fire but my understanding is to gain compliance or induce NMI, the probes that connect have to be something like at least 1 foot(12 inches) apart from each other.

(I own a Taser Pulse+ I purchased myself, though if money wasn't a factor, or if I could choose one free taser of my choice, hands down it would be the Taser 7)

Only fires one probe at a time so now the operatorcan control the spread of the probes. Have to keep that minimum distance between the probes to be completely effective. The biggest problem I have had with prior models was the fact one of the probes would miss. If both probes are not in contact with the suspect then the taser will not work. I did like the X3 (that carried 3 cartridges) and the 7 (that carries 2) with multiple cartridges but I think this new 10 will be much more effective. I am curious how these probes will penetrate thick jackets. And what is the cost to replace a cartridge that contains 10 probes? $40 $100?

I’m so proud of you, my babies. I can’t believe what you’ve done for us ALL.

Two main issues:
1. This thing looks gigantic, significantly bigger than the 7 and that was never addressed. How much larger are we going to make all these less lethals until it affects the way we can move. Most agencies still don’t have load bearing vests or don’t allow officers to carry the taser on the vest. Why not make it magazine fed at this point and reduce the form factor?

2. It is already hard enough to get the probes on target in high stress situations or when running, this makes us have to get at-least two on target when in that high stress situation. Agencies are bound to make policies on how many rounds you can use on one subject. It should fire two at a time the same way the taser 7 fires while being able to ‘flick’ the taser to change the range. That way you have 5 firing chances to get a good connection; which is much better than firing round after round, wires and probes going everywhere trying to make a good connection. REMEMBER these will have to be very precise shots to give NMI, if you double tap two probes directly in the muscle group of the back, you are most likely not going to get full NMI.

Bonus issue kind of tied into 2. Because you have to aim two shots with enough distance betwixt the two to achieve NMI, you lose the SURPRISE of the Taser. They now have a chance to rip the first probe out before NMI is achieved.

Awesome to see. Now just waiting for the Axon Flex 3!

the taser 10 seems like a very good long range taser, however it has no drive stun feature that I could find, so for now the X2 and X7 seem like a better option for police

This video over and over is basically arguing this taser would/should be used in place of a firearm. If someone is a deadly threat, lethal force should be used. not a taser of any kind, even if it had 50 probes. should it technically be very efficient in less lethal scenarios? yeah. But why does it keep talking about lowering gun related deaths like police are using their service pistols on people who aren't posing a deadly threat.

X26 will always be bae. That is the best Taser ever produced.

Very awesome! As a State of Arizona Ranger I love my X2. I was very privileged to be part of the testing. I hope someday I can carry the Taser 10. Would be an awesome opportunity to educate others out on the field while in service. Thank you

While they didnt state it, the sequential firing will be a game changer in struggles. Now instead of being forced to drive stun, you deliberately place a barb in two distant locations for full nmi. Though im not 100% sure thats true or supported by the new manual of arms.

The only question remains is will the officer on thw street be able to aim well enough under pressure?
