For those struggling with double click to run the game, just do this: press the steam button and go into controller settings, edit the layout and make R4 as left mouse click. Come back to the game screen and just double tap R4. R4 is an example, you can map any button of your choice to make this work. Also make sure the right d pad is mouse instead of joystick. That’ll let you use it instead of touching the screen.

Finally. I run the game through Emudeck or just through a shortcut to steam and it works great. Some of the steps in the video are not necessary. You just need to choose the API, which is now called Steam DLU or something and it works great (only on game mode).

Man I'm finding this to be such a headache compared to a windows machine. The games list doesn't populate when I add the roms folder and when I try to just manually load a game by file->load, every game gives an error message "unable to launch game. Path: -file name here-"

Make sure both programs are set in properties to vulkan (not experimental) within steam on the game version not the desktop version, also I can only seem to launch it via the CEMU launcher using the double click method, the way I get it to work every time is to spam tap the icon for the game and not the text. I hope this helped someone.

I carnt seem to get it to read my games folder, its like its completely Invisible, the only folder it reads is where cemu is installed on my sd card

I have Mario kart 8 Wux file and I have a keys.txt file with the key for the game. I have a huge list that I found with keys for almost every Wiiu game but I STILL get an error saying it needs the key to start when I try to run it in steam os. Any help?

The cemu.exe won't show up in steam. I type it in and it doesn't show

As far as it showing up, typing in cemu.exe in the file name box did nothing. BUT I did just right click the exe file and click add to steam.

I'm not able tu play games on my SD card... I followed the instruction (probably missing something) but I don't understand why cemu is not dfinding The game. I need to have cemu and games both in the SD card? At the moment I have cemu in deck ssd and games in my micro SD.... Some suggestion?

I did everything you say, but when I open Cemu it just crashes and the only way is to press the Steam Deck Power Button to shut if off competely. Once I managed to open Cemu and added a game path but I never came to the point where my games show up in the list :(

Hmmm. Some games work but some games immediately crash out to the game selection screen. Not sure what is going on.

cemu simply isnt letting me click on some thing, i can click and open the general settings menu, i can switch tabs in that and click on things in the interface box, but when i go to hit "add" in the game paths box it just will not even let me click on it

Hey, so Im using it in compatibility with Proton 7.0-4, and whenever I run Cemu, every few seconds the keyboard keeps force popping up. I have about two seconds to move the mouse before it keeps popping up. I am so close to doing this. I am at the step of trying to set my game folder. Halp.
