14/14, well done. I liked how when you paused the YouTube video (6:30), you got recommendations for Nightwish and Iron Maiden, based on your view history. :)

A wonderfully sweet Valentines Day to you, sir. Although I don't think you have actually arrived there yet!!

I spent 8 years in 4 different universities: University of Toronto, London School of Economics, Osgoode Hall Law School, and the York University Business School's MBA Program, and I have no idea how anyone can understand any of this stuff. It is worse than advanced math. I remember many years ago, in 1974, proudly purchasing Charles W. Misner, Kip S. Thorne, and John Archibald Wheeler's GRAVITATION, an introductory textbook on theoretical physics, at 1304 pages (and a beautifully published book for the time I might add) and I had better luck on trying to read that than I do trying to understand any of this stuff. So I am impressed with your being able to ace this test -- it's much more than I would ever be able to do.
I can offer a music suggestion though: the 3rd Movement of Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata" on electric guitar.
Thanks for the reactions and keep well ... T.C.

Not a very hard test (except all that Italian 'smurfsando' stuff)

I wonder why so many folk tunes are in dorian. Probably because the oldest and most popular instruments were diatonic (flutes/whistles etc) so it's natural just to shift by a step up from a default major to do a 'sad' tune than to try to execute all these tricky half-steps.

As an Italian I can say that none of those words were fake. They actually had their meanings XD

I scored 13/14, the only that I didn't know was that oboe ranges about 2 and a half octaves (Bb3 to G6). I love music theory vids, keep em coming! Also, composition masterclasses would be fun as well, like a video where you would describe your workflow from the initial idea(s) to a full piece of music.

Nice video. Congratulations for your perfect score on an “impossible” music test ;-).

Scarborough Fair is an beautiful song and had alt of famous covers, like those of: Celtic Woman, Brainbox, Simon and Garfunkel.

I have to admit, if I'd gotten the Scarlatti one right, it would be because of the art/hair style.

I'm a computer nerd by trade and not a musician, although I studied music theory in college and sing with a church choir, and I would have gotten most of these myself. Who doesn't know "Scarborough Fair" is in Dorian?!

"Just you wait, 'enry 'iggins, just you wait" standby for more tests if they exist. This test was crostini and butter for you sir.

Man, you might as well be speaking Japanese to me in this one. I did get the Sacficial Dance one right though. I can at least read a score as far as 8th, 16th, etc nots are concerned.
