I grew up in the PNW and an avid hunter, outdoorsman. Roger Paterson was a T-ball coach here in town. Never had an encounter myself. But for years after Roger's video. It was like seeing the movie Jaws and being in the ocean. Especially when your sitting on a ridge by yourself deep in the forest. RIP Mr Patterson. He was a great Man

Never believed in bigfoot even after the Patterson gimlin film in 1967.
Born and raised in Del Norte county !
Until I saw some playing or washing themselves in El Capitain lake above Youngs valley in the siskiyous around 1986 while deer hunting with two friends.

Enjoyed watching this from bigfoot country - Port Angeles, Wa. I believe I met you once at WSU. I was a graduate archaeology student (took two classes with Dr. Krantz ~1995-96). I bought one of his casts. When we met, you told me about your experience in Africa. So cool that you are back into cryptozoology and having bigfoot encounters.

Born and raised in Humboldt bigfoot was something I always just accepted as a critter in the woods

This was wonderful!
I'm a tad perplexed why the music became louder when the tree was knocked over?
The music wasn't needed in the least simply because his accounting of his experiences was very well said.
Thoroughly enjoyed this and look forward to more!
Thank you so much.
Blessings,
K.T.

When you said “Turkey Creek Trail”, I got a chill that went down my spine! I have a creepy story from Turkey Creek Trail near Warren, Tx/Kountze, Tx. My husband and I were youth pastors at the time. We were joining other youth groups to go camping out on the Turkey Creek Trail. From our group only girls wanted to go, so I took 8-10 teenage girls to meet up and camp out for the weekend with these other groups. We hiked about 2 hours in on Turkey Creek Trail and set up camp near a creek. The boys camp was probably 500 feet away from the girls camp. I told the girls to not go anywhere without a buddy. Well, I broke this rule to go down the creek to refill my water bottle. I had some equipment that would filter out the brown water into fresh drinking/cooking water. As I was bent down getting water, I got a creepy feeling. It felt like “impending doom”. I knew I was being watched by something. I looked around and didn’t see anything but I knew I was being watched and immediately knew I needed to return to camp. I stopped gathering water and began to run. When I got back I felt safer but I knew something had been watching me. The hairs all over my body were standing up.
That night us girls set up a camp fire and were cooking some food. Suddenly we heard like pebbles and acorns being thrown near our camp. I told the girls it was just squirrels to calm them, but inside my hairs stood up and again I felt like we were being watched. We also heard lots of snapping twigs. I just kept a close eye. That night we went to bed and as the girls were sleeping, I couldn’t sleep. At one point I heard a scream. At first I thought maybe it was a scream of a bobcat or something. But it sounded deeper and had a different tone. All the girl woke up freaked out. I lied and reassured them it was just a screech owl 🦉 (I know… terrible to lie especially since I was their pastor’s wife… but I needed to keep them calm). They all ended up falling back to sleep. I couldn’t sleep. We were sleeping all together in a huge 10-12 person tent. I ended up hearing footsteps around the camp site throughout the night and just prayed. I did hear what I thought was a bobcat/wild cat scream at one point. I did also hear hogs in the distance and think they came close to camp. I heard hoots of owls too. I still don’t know what that originally scream was… it was animal like… not human. For years I thought feline but it was way deeper and more “rustic”. The tone was different. I can’t describe it. It has always bothered me that I didn’t know what I heard or what was watching me. But over the past few years, as I have researched Sasquatch/Bigfoot, I have listened to sounds of screams, hoots, and such that people have recorded doing field work. Those noises are the closest thing I have heard to match the scream I heard that night on the trail. When he said he was on Turkey Creek and had that experience, this whole experience rushed back to my mind and my hairs stood up. I wonder if it was a wood ape/Sasquatch that watched me and that we heard that night at camp. I just remember feeling so relieved when we left camp and walked back to the front of Turkey Creek Trail. I was relieved the girls and I got back safe. Something was watching us. I have never been back.

The rectangular thing in the sky - I'm betting that's like what my dad saw, except in the daytime, in Marion NC. He described it as a big black train box car floating through the sky. It just drifted across the sky until eventually the view got obstructed by some mountains.
UPDATE: I showed my dad and he said that's EXACTLY what he saw. 😳

We weren't in the Big Thicket, Texas, but we certainly have had numerous experiences between Lake Conroe and Richards, Texas.
This gentleman is more than welcome to contact us. The final experience scared me so bad I wouldn't walk out to the back of our property again.

I saw my first one in 1984 when I was 11 on the Mescalero Apache reservation. He was 75 ft below me walking up a gulley next to my house. My dad got some Polaroid pics of an 18" foot print after it walked off. 3 years later my grandfather passed away on the Menominee reservation in Wisconsin, and my late dad took my 2 older sisters to his funeral, and left me with mom. On the 2nd night alone with my mom we went outside around 10pm, and we have no neighbors and live at 6700' ft forested elevation, we had something or someone throwing huge rocks beside us. My mom said to go get the gun, to scare persons up on the hill above the house, I went inside and grabbed the 30/30 lever action and loaded it with 4 shells. I shot three shots way up into the sky and next thing we hear is a massive thing running through the oak brush up the hill.
Then in May of 2023 my son graduated and we went down the mountain to go eat out as a family and as we returned, everyone was asleep in our Sienna and my wife's head was bobbing up and down. I see these massive legs going across the 4 lane highway and my headlights lit up the creature and he was almost as tall as the 10ft sign in the median. I said softly what the fuck and my wife then said oh my God that thing is huge! I slowed down and he stopped and looked me in the eye, then some non Indians came around the bend and lit him up. He was massive ft built. Then in November we were leaving my in laws at 5 am to hunt elk, on the reservation, when we left their house I turn north towards a housing area just off the 4 lane highway (hwy70) that has street lights, 3 of them along the highway. I saw something which I thought was elk going across the highway I turned my light bar on and lit Bigfoot up as he ran across the highway. I've had tree knocks, screams, rocks thrown onto my roof, and these sightings here on my rez and life goes on....

My heartfelt thanks, Carlos accounting of your experience(s) was filled with bits and gems that have come into my (15 years) experience(s) of forest inquiry. The trail cam images (many and mysterious) showing possible arm hair and lights was so validating I felt all choked up. This is the good work.

At one time in my life I wouldn't have believed that they exist. A few years back I was listening to a lot of Sasquatch stories. I was particularly interested in the story two men that live in Alaska related on a video called Monsters and Mysteries in Alaska. I watched numerous videos about Sasquatch after that and one morning around 4am I awoke to use the bathroom and there was the sound of an owl but I know what a real owl sounds like. Like this guy says about hearing Sasquatch making wild turkey sounds but he knows what the real animal makes. Also that sound of an owl was the only time I heard an owl and I've lived here 17 years. I've heard coyotes early in the morning but never an owl. I've also seen many red tailed hawks and even a bald eagle (he was really big). Something about watching all those videos on Sasquatch caused that early morning hooting

I currently live in the PNW and love it here. I vist the national forest near by to fish, hike and harvest mushrooms. I've found several tracks and other signs. I've heard them and smelled them. I have yet to see one but I know 💯 that yes they're real and there.

I'm a believer, the step above that is those that know and have seen.. theres a foot trail access only lake in upstate NY known as Nine Corners. Its popular enough, if you go during the day then expect to see people but camping over night, 9/10 you're alone.. me and a buddy did a one nightmare trip and set up camp right next to the boulder, bout a 15ft jump into the lake off this boulder.. we heard what I could only describe as cartoon bird calls across the lake right after sunset, it was dark, nothing else was making noise. We were jaw dropped at this sound, unlike anything you could imagine without the help of Disney studios, honestly. And that night rocks were rolling down the hill randomly from the hill above us then something grown man sized jumped from that boulder into the lake at about 4am.. sun rise was just after 5, we packed up and ran non stop out of that trail to the car, 30 min forest run without coffee.. this was probably 2010

I'm just north of Del Norte along the Redwood Highway, 199. I had one walk through my yard earlier this year, I caught two audio recordings last year, I found a line of fresh tree breaks and some logs got placed over a bent pine tree on my property here.

I was 15 growing up in Forks Wa. Me and my friend decided one summer night in 1981 to ride our bmx bike out to a bridge south of Forks around 1 in the morning. We messed around on the bridge and said ok let’s ride back to town. About 2 miles from town my pant leg got caught in my sprocket & told Joe to keep going I’d catch up. Well? Above me on pavement was a steep embankment along the road and all of a sudden it sounded like a elephant was on a rampage and hair stood up on my neck but it was so dark I couldn’t see but only hear and I ripped my jeans free and I never peddled so hard in my life and while I was scared shitless I knew if I turned my head around I’d see something, in my heart it was Bigfoot. I’ve been in the woods long enough to understand a herd of elk running. I pasted Joe and I didn’t stop until I got to the first street light at the end of the airport out of Forks. Joe caught up and said hey? I told him. I’m sure it was likely a bear but? I still think no or it wasn’t a cougar. I never road out of town on my bike ever again. I know it may sound jibberish or flat out lie but that is how it happened to me.
