Ingredients:
graham cracker pie crust
2 can eagle brand condensed sweet milk
3 egg yolks
1/2 cup lemon juice
Combine all ingredients, put in pie shell, refrigerate 4 hours or overnight.

I remember the first time I made this. I thought each bite tasted like heaven. I haven't made this in years. I'm inspired to make one. My grandmother baked hers for a little while because of the raw egg yolks.

I remember this 🍋 pie so well because my dad was a southern man and his mom showed mom showed my mom how to make this was my late dad old time favorite lemon 🍋 pie well as old fashioned jam cakes.. my mom was from a western state. But she know how to cook my dad favorite meals.. 😍 to she would take the egg white and put it under the oven to burn a little bit of the yoke and then she would put the pie in regfigator for overnight. This is how my mother made it! No baking with the egg yolks. Mom said the lemon juice cooks the eggs. Don't know if that's scientific but we ate it and lived! Loved it too! Thanks Beverly!

I made this last night and just had it this afternoon 😊
The raw eggs kind of freaks me out so I cut the recipe in half and use
1 s c milk
1/4 c lemon juice
1 egg yolk
4 oz cream cheese
I don't use a crust but to keep my servings down to a little treat I always pour my deserts into a ice cube tray
