I appreciate it very much that you actually quantify the benefits to be expected and also provide a timescale. Looks like there is a lot of experience behind it. What might be even more informative (at least for a guy like me) is the statistics behind those figures. But that is obviously beyond the scope of this video...

I have been on a low fat gluten free (I eat lots of potatoes and rice) vegan diet since Oct 2013, and I did get rid of ALL significant health problems. I also lost 33kg of body weight and am now preparing for a 50k trail run. Similarly, my wife lost a lot of weight, has much more energy and mental clarity and has head a perfect pregnancy so far!

This way of eating/this lifestyle really works, and everybody should at least give it one decent (1 year) try! It is likely that you never want to go back!

Absolutely, do not add music.  It garbles the message and makes the talk inaudible.  If you want music go to music play on YouTube.

I was wondering where you stand on root canals? I read a permanent mold (bacteria) forms under the tooth that causes health problems later?

Very informative. Though I’m skeptical about taking vitamin b12. What’s the difference from the other vitamins (which are toxic)?

Great stuff, but those high doses of B12 tend to make me feel a little skittish, too much energy. I found B12 drops methyl delivery of 50 mcg a drop, ordered online. Wouldn't that be sufficent a couple times a week?

Awakening truth you need to learn the difference between simple sugars and complex sugars/carbohydrates. Simple sugars are "refined" sugars. And they can and do make people gain weight. Fruit sugar "complex sugar/carbs "unrefined" don't do that. He never said fruit

I'm tired of the fruitarians who follow McDougall's videos only to incessantly whine about his 1-4 fruits a day rule. Stick to Doug Graham if offends you that much. This is not a fruitarian support site. The Okinawans, Cretans and other healthy long-lived populations ate mostly starch, little fruit, hence McD's beliefs.
