My sister was told to do it after only 2 weeks of pt. This is ridiculous. This was never done before, but greed prevails. They always find new ways to make more money, regardless of how they affect someone's quality of life. Being just under anesthesia for the surgery and going under so soon is literally life threatening, but do they care? Many people have a very bad reaction and die. Who do you blame? They cover their butts in the form you sign, you give the the permission to do this to you and they do NOT take responsibility. With Physical Therapy you can do well. Do NOT let them bully you into it. The risks outweigh the benefits.

I’m 8 weeks post op from ACL and meniscus surgery and only have 55 degrees range of motion. My orthopedic has told me if I can’t get my knee to bend 120 degree by Nov. 3, then I’ll be having MUA. I’m kind of scared ngl
