Is Nissan or Honda Best? Pathfinder vs Pilot

Today I compare a 2025 Honda Pilot TrailSport to a 2024 Nissan Pathfinder Rock Creek!

Both are nice but Nissan is very reliable I own it best cars ever 10 years oil change brakes and wipers a money SAVER

Both engines are golden. Acura has the edge. They didn’t merge with Renault in 1999.

Recently (May - 2025) I wanted to lease simple / base model 2025 Honda Pilot AWD and compared to same year and options with a Pathfinder S 4WD, the Pathfinder (for me) was $140 less per month to lease. Honda and Kia seem to be scamming people.

Easiest decision of my life. Honda is bland, and Nissan is absolutely gorgeous. One of the best looking crossovers on the market. Looks a lot more capable then the Honda too

You didnt mention that pathfinder recommend premium while pilot only regular. Its like infinity thats why it has more torque and hp.

The true question to ask to determine which one has the edge is which one will be more reliable in the long run? I’m betting the Honda since Nissan fell off in reliability with their CVT trannys and the merger with Renault years ago.

Allot of complaints on those nissan transmissions
